Partnership acclaimed in industry awards
The pioneering approach of Nottinghamshire-based retail IT services specialist Retail Assist has once again been acclaimed in the retail-IT services industry's leading annual awards.
The company's joint entry with Adams Childrenswear reached the final in the Retail Technology Team of the Year Award- category at the prestigious annual European Retail Solutions Awards.
Becoming a finalist means Retail Assist and Adams have been successful at the Awards for two successive years, having actually won theBest Retailer / Supplier Partnership of the Year category at last year's event.
The 2002 entry focused on a major overhaul of Adams' gift voucher processing system undertaken by Retail Assist, which has helped the retailer to more than double its turnover of retail vouchers.
Retail Assist undertook an extensive review of Adams' existing arrangements before recommending and then implementing a package of measures to increase functionality, provide additional management information and even allow transactions in Euros for Adams stores in Eire.
